Hey content freaks, i think it is no problem to tell that i earn about 0.01 $ a day via site advertising by google.

The contextual earnings are much higher. But i want to know how many advertisers are advertising direct if i have 0.01 $ a day without a click. (i think 1)

So its that the pool where you have to find money? More 'site advertisers' wil bumb op the price?

Unless you have huge number of pages and thousands of page views a day .. I don't see how the site can make money with site targetted ads..

Anyways G , decides for you for your site . You can't really pick and choose can you?

I prefer Contextual ads with CPC earnings and hope G gives me those ads only...

In my experience, contextual and site-targeted CPM ads complement each other nicely. Either advertisers bid enough for the site-targeted CPM ads to get them displayed instead of contextual ads, or--if the site-targeted CPM ads have low bids--the ads get displayed on pages that tend not to do well with contextual ads (such as photo galleries or forum pages).

However, as Green_Grass points out, you don't get to pick which kind of ad runs where--that's determined by Google (and also by advertisers, who decide whether to run to run site-targeted CPM ads on your site).

Basically both kind of ads compete for the same space.

Google makes sure that the higher earning ad wins. That means that if for every impressions, you should get the ad that brings you most money, at least on average.

So I guess CPC ads are just good news. If they are less earning than contextual - they won't be shown anyway.

Ok, we love CPC ads; they are contextual etc.

But i was happy to see site targetted ads because it give my site more value (IMHO). So creating a good site in your niche gives the most change to get site targetted ads. That's control isn't it? Just a little but it is.

Writing about cars gives you car ads.. again control at your side. I dont know if it's slim to say but my niche has something to do with food :p I had also a site with rental houses but i dont like the maffia.

I think advertisers don't spend money on bad sites. I forgot what my point is but it is a little filosofy.
