Is there a bit of code that can be added to the google adsense code so that if users have the ads blocked an alternate text message will display in it's place so there's not a big white space there?

Any links or info on how to do this?

You can specify alternate ads - see
[google.com...]
Best solution is probably to create a file with your alternate text and supply that as the html alternatice

Yeah that's not quite what I'm talking about. The issue is with browsers that block the ads. I believe there is a way to use the IF statement with the javascript or even PHP to serve up alternate text if the browser blocks the ads from displaying.

Google's solution only covers the possibility of getting rid of the Public Service ads, which isn't quite the same thing.

create a new webpage with all the text - now make that webpage as the alternate URL
