From related to totally unrelated ads

Hi,

I have a website design website where I also provide ready made templates. Previously I was getting great results with adsense as all the ads were related to templates and all.

Now all of a sudden my PR has gone from 5 to 0, my ranking for website designs keyword from being 4th to not being there and the ads I am now getting are either ads for humanitarian websites for which you do not get paid or ads that are nowhere near to being related to my website. I have not changed anything so I have no idea why this is happening.

I just went to your site and in my Google toolbar, your site has PR5.

PR and rankings have no relation to the types of ads you are showing, whether PSAs or targeted. The one thing to look into is if you have inadvertantly banned bots via your robots.txt which would result in your scenario and be seemingly related.

Another possibility is if you are looking at your site without the www at the beginning (or including the www when you normally do not). Some sites show different ads based on whether the www is on the beginning of the domain or not.

Oh k. Sorry about posting the URL.

You are right it is showing the ranking with www but not without it. I am also seeing the related ads once again with or without the www so I have no idea why it wasn't before.
