Second block of ads showing more ads.

I've got a 300x250 ad: the second instance always shows 4 links...

Okay, here is the situation:

I've got 2 blocks of ad on my page, both are 300x250. the first tone shows TWO links in a larg(er) Arial font: the second ad that shows up shows FOUR links.

Anybody know why the SECOND ad that shows up on the page is showing more links?

This doesn't seem unreasonable - Google puts higher paying ads in the first block, so I would guess you have a couple of significantly higher advertisers. Google gives them better coverage in a larger space to get a better click through rate, and the 'rest of the rabble' ;) get shoved in all together in a later block
