Whoohoooo! I get first clicks today

My travel site launched about two weeks and today I get first 3 clicks for 49 cents. May be for you it is no meaning, but for me it means a lot :)))). My problem now is about SEs. Google still didn't come, Yahoo was so fast that indexed my site when not ready :(.
I know that I have so much works to do, but without listing in SEs it's very difficult, because I don't know my SEO is correct or not, even I try to follow your advices I found here.
Any suggestions that help me to speed up it?

Just be patient and keep adding content.

Try and get some good quality backlinks, half a dozen will do nicely.

I know, it sounds easier said than done however if you have a specifically relevant site, especially for niche destinations, then it should not be too difficult.

Perseverance is the name of the game with backlinks however not to a link farm!

I know this issue, but now I am not sure how to get it. Is here someone that has travel site and willing to exchange link with me? Or some more detailed suggestions?
