Is it a good idea to keep all your in one huge site or should you spread it over several sites?

I think several sites are more profitable than one site, because each and every site will attract a different user and advertiser.

So Google search with the domain name covers all the sub domains.

Got 5 sites. If 1 or 2 perform bad, the others usually compensate a bit...
