How many hours did you start off working on your site or sites.

How long before you settled down and then spent just the odd few hours a week on it?

Currently im working on a couple of new sites and spending over 12 hours aday on them.

4-8 years/site, 23 hours a day, making $0.5/week

I think he was trying to imply that he's not doing great after putting in lots of effort.

I've been going for about three weeks with adsense, I've only just passed the double figure mark in terms of earnings, and at the moment I only really spend about 6 hours a week max on it.

I don't count the hours, but publishing the site in my profile is my full-time job.

europeforvisitors as you main job -

I would imagine you visit alot of the places you write about. That sounds like one very interesting job.

Now, if you go and make me count the hours I'll never be able to justify the time spent, so we'll say it's a lot.

i started my site about 3 months ago..
the first 2 months i spend every spare waking moment working on the site (when not at my day-job).
the last few weeks i'm finally beginning to resemble a person with a life.. but i still do SOMETHING to the site at least once a day, sometimes more.

My hours spent/money earned ratio is still WAYYY out of wack.. hopefully this will balance out over time.

Depends on what you want to do with your site of course. But if you know what you want to do there is no reason you can't get it going in anywhere from a day to a week for most projects.

It's my full time job now...wake up whenever i wake up and start working on promoting it first for couple hours and then after lunch work on the sites. Usually until 6pm...then if i dont have plans i'm usually around the computer doing research. It's almost 24/7 job.
