Hi

currently i have 2 160 x 600 skyscrapers. some time a single spyware advatiser takes one entire skyscraper add unit. so this advatiser preventing displaying 3-4 adds in a single skyscraper.

I thought to filter this domain. so there will be always 3-4 adds will be displayed.

am i correct?

Assuming it's relevant for your site:
Depends on what you want.

Do you want the best paying ad showing?

Or do you prefer several lesser ads that may not earn as much?

Assuming it's not relevant:
You might want to consider filtering it. Or better yet, you might want to try the targeting tags, because if you're showing non-relevant ads your issue is targeting and not that advertiser. If the ads are new, it might take a little while for the relevance to tweak itself.

Do clicks on ads that take up the entire adspace pay more then single ad units? I see some graphic ads on pages that take up the whole thing and have to think that it costs the advertiser a lot more as it gets a lot more exposure.

Hai martin...

it is relevent. but i am warried coz only one single add take entire skyscraper. i just want to have 4 adds in a skyscraper insted of one. so user have more choices i think.

Will single add have high pay?

That's the way google designed it to work. They show "expanded ads" if they feel it will earn you more money than 4 ads. They show 4 ads if they feel it will earn you more money than 1 expanded ad.

It could also be a site targeted CPM based ad, which means an advertiser targeted your site for their ads to show there on an "impression" basis (meaning you could be getting paid each time the ad shows, not when it's clicked)

Is there anyway to find out who has signed up to show targetted ads on your site?

I don't think so.

If all works as google has designed it (doesn't always happen), then letting it display is the best option since Google has algorithms designed to maximize your earnings (remember: if you earn more, then google earns more).
