Google adsense loading slowly

or is it just me?

I checked out 3 different sites (3 different publishers) with adsense and each time the page never finished loading.

Seems like the pages hang right where the adsense is trying to load.

I can't reach the Google Adsense control panel or the Adwords control panel.

Anybody else seeing this?

I am in the UK no problems pages load fine no hanging and I can get into AdSense control panel without any hickup

Logging into AdSense is slow for me (about 30 seconds) but I'm sure that's just the encryption process.

Hi,

The connectivity from your desktop/laptop to G's servers dominates the AdSense login/ad-load time. Nothing to do with the publisher's host necessarily.

I have found now that G is steering me to a server in Spain that I get worse performance than when I was going to their servers in Illinois (US). I am (usually) in the UK. This depends on your ISP's peering agreements and connectivity.

So how you see G/AS performance may have little bearing on how anyone else does.

Note that when I am at a US client's offices in London, with their traffic routed via the US, G/AS zips along as I'd come to know and love. YMMV on the Net...
