discrepancy in the number of clicks

as reported by adsense and by a click tracker

For the last couple of days, I noticed a discrepancy between the number of clicks as reported by adsense and by an adsense tracker that I installed for experimenting. It seems that AdSense does not count some clicks. Is there an idea why?

Thank you in advance

Not all adsense trackers are perfect and usually the Adsense trackers you pay for are much better than the freebie scripts. I suggest if you are serious about true adsense click tracking you buy a paid version.
Asrep, and RevenueMonitor(My favorite) are two that work great.

You have to use trackers as a guide and not an exact science.

Things that can mess up trackers are:
1. RIGHT CLICKING on an ad
2. Clicking one ad but the second you do you see a better link and click that. Trackers Are resident on your server so it is instant. While contacting the google servers takes some time.
3. Some adsense trackers count clicks on PSA's

toomuch72, thnk you.

I use evaluation version of Asrep. After experimenting for a while I will decide whether to buy its full version.

Almost the same topic, asrep is reporting 60 odd clicks so far today which is about right, google more like 170 which is through the roof (though the income isn't) all quite odd :(
I am a bit hinkey at the moment as I had a DOS attack on one of my servers in the week.
