Are AdSense and AdWords related?

Simple question...?

My earnings have doubled since I stopped with Adwords. Are Adword referrals "worth" less?

All this happened last month when I returned from my holiday and had forgot to transfer money into my account where Adwords withdraws money. The week my Adwords did not show, my earnings were up alot.

Anybody else with this phenomenon?

Yes adsense and adwords are related. Adsense is for publishers and adwords is for advertisers. The adsense ads you see on your page come from advertisers that use adwords.

Yes, thanks for explaining, but I know how this works already.

To clearify what i want to ask about:

I apparently make more money from people who has not clicked my Adwords ads, but find my sites in other ways.

And also I appear to make more money if I do not use Adwords at all...

Hense my Q: Are Adword referrals worth less?

/P3

PS. Could this be a way for Google to keep the MFAs from making big money?

Might be just a coincidence. You could have made more if you let your adwords account running.

To my knowledge, no one knows this except for Google.

If true, perhaps that is a new way they are combating MFAs? Very interesting.

We used Adwords to get a new site going and then stopped once it had its own momentum. There doesn't seem to be any appreciable difference in any of the stats between the time when we used adwords and when we didn't.

Hi,

My experience with using AW traffic to build awareness of my main site is that those users are less likely to click out of the site via another AW ad than other users, though in other respects their behaviour seems similar to others.
