Sudden increase of EPC recently?

Adwords is going crazy, therefore, more earnings for Adsense.

I'd like to ask to people here if they have seen an overall increasing in EPC say, since the last week?

Nice to see MFAs paying their fair share.

How's that? A MFA using adwords will still making money since they will also get higher EPC regardless they are paying more now.

People using adwords for their brick and mortar business or affiliates are the ones who are going to suffer.

No, I can't confirm a significant increase in EPC since last week. Unfortunately.

Yes, of course I get it now.
You, the publishers will not get more EPC, until we, the advertisers rise our bids.
If this happen it will be a slow process ... when people start reviewing their campaigns and see their inactive keywords many will raise their bids, many other will not.

Yeah my epc increased around 30% since around 3 weeks and it looks staying this level. Did google scrap smart pricing?

In my niche the Adwords CPC for UK only advertisers has increased dramatically the past couple of weeks with a huge influx of new advertisers pushing up the bids by as much as 100%.

The reason?

The trade had a very busy January and February however March seems to have been quiet for many therefore they are advertising using a controlled method.

Interestingly the international English Adwords CPC's have move to a much lesser extent, maybe 10%.

My EPC is a bit higher than average but I also noticed something weird a couple of days ago. I was checking my stats and noticed a channel that earned me about $48 with only 3 clicks.

Hmmmm, I have a site that sells blue widgets and I've been advertising on AdWords for a long time and bidding for "blue widgets" and suddenly my CPC is 10x what it was. My answer was to shut down the campaign and not increase my bid.

I think something is wrong with AdWords and I am seeing campaigns disappear in areas I advertise in. I think your celebrations may be short lived if Google doesn't fix AdWords.
