I have a "personal" site that deals with a hobby. On it I have several "how to" and "how does this work" sorts of articles. I receive messages about one in particular but know the others are popular among people interested in this hobby, as well as others. (one fellow wanted to use my methods for rust removal on a full/complete trailer frame, my method describes using a 5 gallon bucket, so I know it's hit by a variety of folks.
I need income, being without work for several months (months, he$$, more like over a year!)
I REALLY enjoy working with web sites, and my hobby page is due for updating, etc.
It was suggested I could "fine tune" or tweak it and use it to make some money. I get hits on it (no logs, so not sure how many, but could easily convert it into hundreds of hits a day)
Adsense was what was suggested - by someone in a sister forum here.
Finally, to my question - how does it work?
How does one get into the program?
What do _I_ need to do? How can I make my site "Acceptable" to the program? Do I need a minimum number of hits a day? How would we know that?
So many questions, so much to do....... where to start?
