I'm trying to keep my site free and like many others I have incorporated some adsense towers into the site. Is it orthodox to ask visitors to click on the sponsor ads to keep the site free?

Do not do it.

Your not allowed and you would be wasting others money.

Instead, let people click the ads themselves. That way they will legitemately be intrested and you will in turn make money.

It is against Google Adsense TOS. Don't do that. They might kick you.

Have a very good look at the Google TOS.
If you don't know that this is not allowed, chances are you don't know about a lot of other stuff that is not allowed.

I love these posts.

They are becoming so popular.

Not only do people not read the Adsense TOS but they don't even read the gazillion other posts in the Adsense forum that answer their questions.

Go on! tell your visitors to click on the Ads.

I await your "I just got banned from Adsense thread".

Heh ;oP

Don't take it personally ;oP

These posts are becoming so regular the whole Adsense forum is full of them. It is most important to fully read and understand the TOS for ANYTHING. Just imagine if you hand over your credit card details to a company but you don't read the TOS that says "you give us full permission to take as much money from your card as we like whenever we like". GULP!

You get my drift

Ska, my fault for not looking at the whole forum! Didn't want to post outside of the newbie area. Thanks for the advice. Regards.
