reason is i wanna pay more on google search than sites for obvious reasons
However, this was posted in the wrong forum by mistake I think.
He wanted to post in adwords.
PLEASE leave this here moderators anyway so that the adsense publishers really understand why the epc, credibility etc keeps falling for all genuine real publishers. Think, crappy ROI and MFA sites...
Thanks!
This is the normal mentality. Caused by the advertiser seeing so many crappy get rich quick sites, which are against the TOS anyway for so long.
I really think adsense need to rethink things a bit.
what do you mean with MFAs (i know what it stands for)? do you mean that i am one of those?
because i dont have adsense ads there only affiliate links
And I don't blame an AdWords advertiser for wanting to bid less on the content side than search. And I hate MFAs but that's not the problem with why sponsors often set up distinct campaigns for search and for content. I don't think an MFA site would necessarily convert any worse than an original content site.
If anything, MFAs may have an advantage because they draw in gullible folks searching for something that don't know any better and that may be the perfect audience to drop at the virtual front porch of an online advertiser that is well-prepared to move in for the kill. It's sad, but possibly true.
Can somebody just put a link to show an example of an MFA? B/c not all of us know how they look like.
Can't put a link, but let's try to visualize it. The numbers are the maximum allowed for that type of unit.
Picture a page that has the maximum number of adblocks (3), adlinks (1) and maybe search for adsense (2) units on the page. Buried somewhere in the midst of this is one short little sentence that is well enough written so that all those adblocks and the adlink unit relate to that sentence's topic. The page probably also has a title that is specific to the topic. Everything is color coordinated so that the ads blend right in with that tiny sentence, making the sentence somewhat hard to find.
Another version that I've seen has a bolded short sentence at the top with nothing more on the page but the adsense units.
There simply isn't any real content on either type.
Hope that helps.
