I have written before about getting banned by Adsense for invalid clicks which I reported to Google and also removed the ads from the affected blog. After getting banned, I wrote to them again and was asked to write an appeal. I provided all requested information and my plea of innocence. I received a reply saying "sorry" again and something to the effect that "forget about appealing again". So, my questions are:
1) Should I appeal again? If yes, after how long? Or is it better to reapply at a later date (how long?)and forget about appeal? Note: I read here before someone recommended be persistent in appealing? Does it work?
2) I had a few sites under Adsense previously. One of the sites have pretty good traffic and I would like to put Adsense on it again. Can I use someone else account(already using Adsense) and put it on my site? Will he/she get banned because of that or does Google only punish the "suspected" site for which I was banned? Or maybe the "original" site which I used to apply for Adsense in the first place?
3)If I can't put adsense anymore on any of my previous sites with some traffic. Are they of any value besides alternative ads or affiliates(most other programs pale in comparison to adsense). Can I use links to direct traffic to my new sites? Is that also punishable because of assosiation with this "bad" site?
4) I really hope that Google can improve on their click fraud investigation because I am 100% innocent, and still get banned. Worse, I have explained everything that I know in my appeal, but no avail. I wonder if they really read them as my account is small. Quite disappointing really.
Any comments is greatly appreciated.
I looked for it earlier but couldn't find it - it is in there though because it's only about three weeks ago that I saw it.
In the meantime you have time to reflect on why this happened to you, and what you can do to prevent it from happening, supposing this is something that happened to you, as opposed to something you brought on yourself.
And if by chance it's something you did that triggered it, then learning from this and walking away is better than bothering Google because they know. So best accept the consequences for your actions and chalk it up as a learning experience... and walk away.
Unfortunately, we can't really do anything for you as your problem is with Google and the resolution has to be arranged with them.
