I want to use google search on my pages as my primary site-search - however to have the search fit more with my site I want to resize it, remove the google logo, and change the button text to "site search" -

anyway I wasnted to ask google if this was cool but I cant seem to find a contact form in adsense anywhere.

has anyone else had any experience with this?

I don't think you're allowed to modify the code of the search box, but to contact Adsense, you just have to go to their help section and look for an answer to your question (try clicking on one of the FAQ entries).

If the FAQ doesn't answer your question, you will be provided with a contact us link at the bottom of that page.

1. Check out this link for the editing the SiteSearch:
[google.com...] - SiteSearch's FAQ [soft of].
2. If you want to remove the Google logo, I really think they'll ban you b/c the logo is a part of their own advertisement.
3. "Change the button text to "site search" - same as 2.
4. This link is for contacting them about this soft of stuff:
[google.com...] - AdSense Help Center.

Gee, hope that helps you.

I just posted a question like that yesterday. I wanted to edit the table color so it doesnt display a background color because i wanted to have it transparent. I emailed google and got an answer today:

<they said it is a violation of the AdSense program policies>

I dont think they will let you edit any code, but email them and see.

I don't even see the point of emailing them about this. The change you wanted to make was trivial compared to what warth0g is proposing, so there can hardly be any doubt they'll say no.

With regards to the table color, the terms are pretty clear about not altering the code itself.

As a part-time website constructor, I find the possibilites of using a stylesheet to influence the appearance of certain elements of HTML on a given webpage fascinating.
