Two Sites, One Account

This may have been posted before, so apologies if it's a repeat. I have two sites I use AdSense on. One is 6 years old, and gets around 100,000 impressions a day. The other is less than 2 months old, and gets around 6,000 impressions a day. I heard somewhere that Google doesn't like you having multiple accounts, so I used the same AdSense account for both. The topic areas for the sites are completely different - one is Financial (and I guess higher value), the other is Entertainment. Is there a chance the Entertainment site could drag down the value of the ads on the Finance site - and if so, how do I get round this? My earnings on the larger site are still pretty good, but I'm worried that maybe it could be better.

Is that because Google distinguishes (spell?!) between different sites? Or some other reason?

Google does not create a new account for you once they know you already have an account.

They simply tell you to use the same code on all the sites you may want to put adsense on.

So to distinguish where your adsense revenue is coming from simply create a different channel for all your sites.
