Faster reporting?

Either I'm doing extremely well today, my figures look about 1~2 hours ahead of usual, or Friday's updates have speeded up reporting.

Anyone else see this?

Dunno about being ahead ;) , but reports do seem to be updating a bit more frequently.

Clocks changed?

But we went forward and the US does not go forward until next weekend.

Theoretically I am now 2~3 hours ahead of usual!

What have I done? Improved something without noticing it?:-) Heck if it keeps this up I'm going to have a barnstorming day.

Hi,

Sorry to buck any emerging trend, but I seem to be having a poor-to-medium day so far, so whatever you're seeing may not be universal, as ever! B^>

I'm not sure it is speed of reporting, Optirex. On Saturday and Sunday the stats seemed to me to take longer to register (even after taking account of the world shift to Google Mean Time). And this morning, the frequency of updates have been as usual - every 30 to 60 minutes or so.

Earnings on Sat and Sun were 'average'/'lower than average' respectively. Like you, this morning does seem to be going well for me but the impressions, CTR and eCPM suggest to me that it is normal EPC fluctuations, not the speed of reporting. Or perhaps there was a click dump of higher paying clicks left over from the Friday work?

You may be reading too much into the clock difference. OK, the Google clock starts at 9am our time instead of 8, but most UK businesses start at 9, and 8-9 isn't a particularly rich period anyway.

Saturday was about normal however Sunday was definitely slower. I wonder whether they've been playing catch-up?

We'll see how the day progresses.

My earnings start immediately the Japanese and Chinese hit me way before Europe even considers paying for my breakfast however, DOH!, I have just realised that a major trade exhibition in the USA finished yesterday and I always have a good surge immediately after such a do...

The power of viral marketing and handing out loads of business cards by my agents does wonders.
