393 Page impressions 0 clicks

Off to a slow start here or is this normal? I run a sports news site and all the ads I see are sports related so thats ok. I only have 1 ad on my page but it's in the center of the page so the viewer will see it right away when they enter the page. I guess I don't mind as long as I keep building traffic but I don't understand why I can't get a few clicks daily. My site is only 1 week old though so I'm not sure how I'm doing compared to others when they first started.

same problem here.
i run a music news web site for a year now, it was great in the beginning but 3 months ago the CRT drop from 6% to 1% and less.
the average page impressions is 1000 a day with only 4 to 6 click.

i fall from two digit earning to less then one dollar a day.

i have tried everything to get the CRT up but no lack.

i think google change something.

it's lock like the more page impression i get the less money i make.

That's a spam traffic, don't try to deny it.

I've gone my last 2000 impressions without a single click, with AdLinks on the top and a 120x240 (or whatever) unit on the left. Given, according to my logs, about 40% of those impressions are mine (as I'm constantly working on my website). Still, that's a thousand legit impressions without a click, which is pretty rough.

A week is nothing, 400 impressions is nothing. Give it much more time, and keep building traffic and experimenting to see what types of ads and positioning work for you.

Right now I have blended ads in a prominent position, but that just seems a bit low-brow to me. I think I'll go for contrasting ads in a user-friendly position. After all, that's how Google got so rich with its search result ads all these years.
