How much is your first payment? And how much income is that in terms of what it buys in your country?

My First is ~$250. Its not much for me (will anything ever be?). Just about half the salary of a young urban yuppie working for a call center. In terms of of what it buys - It can pay for my monthly house rent, electricity bill, internet connection, telephone bill (landline and mobile) and groceries. So I guess its not that bad in terms of Indian Rupees. But then this is for the 2 months after I added adsense on my site and had done absolutely nothing for getting any traffic or enhancing any content. I'm aiming for $200 per day in the next 4 months. Working hard to add quality content and other features that will drive traffic.

A related question for Adsense guys from India - do we get local check (national) from Google India or we receive international check from Google USA? And when can I expect to receive it?
