Another small milestone

I'm an avid reader but infrequent poster (don't want to display my ignorance too often!) on this forum. Just reached a small milestone this week reached my target of $100 from adsense in the first 3 months of this year. I'm pleased as I got $100 from my first year (random ads, not at all optimized) then $100 from my next 6 months, now $100 in three months. Next target is $100 in a month. Small, small fry compared to some on these boards, but maybe an encouragement to other newbies not to give up! Definitely the best such forum around and great and very helpful articles - thanks all!

At this point in time, you might want to consider starting site #2 alongside increasing traffic to your existing site.

Nick, well done for quadrupling your income. That's pretty impressive growth! If you can keep quadrupling your income every 18 months or so, you'll be able to retire in a few years.

In all seriousness, width-wise growth is one of the most important aspects of making money on the web, especially if that growth takes you into new areas (for you).

Having that wide base protects you when one niche or site takes a dive for one reason or another.

i'm a newbie also.. my first site went online Jan 21.. so far my earnings to date are about $130 .. way more than i would have guessed at this point.. I wasn't planning on making ANYthing until about the 1 year mark.. My initial up front costs were $132, so i'm about to break even! Yeahhh!
I put my 2nd site (a forum) online a few weeks ago, but i'm afraid it might flop.. oh-well.. on to #3!

As far as ebooks, or whatever.. I have learned EVERYTHING i know from this forum.. I don't think there is any ebook, video, or 'real' book that can teach you more than what you can learn here at WW ..
