Impressions when site is down?

I've been seeing some strange activities when looking at my Adsense stats. Today my site has been down all day, yet I have still registerd 20 "impressions". How is this possible? They don't count bot hits do they? Thanks for all answers in advance :)

Are you sure the stats relate to "today". I'm not familiar with Adsense, but with Adwords stats seem to come in batches and and increment in dribs and drabs as and when the data centers share info and the master DB catches up etc...

those might be impressions from people looking at your cache. I am still getting some impressions from running Burst skyscrapers and have not had them in my site for the last three weeks {since adsense came into the picture} then I realized that this was the likely source.

Probably people looking at your site through the Google cache! ;)
