I'm getting a "search google for" box instead of link ads on certain pages. Is there any way to filter this? Do you know how much it pays if anything?

Get rid of link units is the only way that I'm aware of, I don't get those so it's possibly a targetting issue.

try using the google adsense preview tools to see if any ads will come up, it can maybe give you a bit more information.

I had that same problem and determined it was sensitive content that was stopping the ads from displaying.

Add a google_alternate_color instruction to your AdLinks code - that's the "Fill space with a solid color" option in the code generator - and then you'll get blank space instead of the search box if no ads are available. (Or use an alternate ad, that has the same effect.)
