It is interesting to see / compare who gets what from Google. Perhaps folks receiving stuff should disclose:
- whether their Aunt works for Google's customer-rewards center
- whether they spend $43,000 a month or more on AdWords
- if they live in Bora Bora, where Google is trying to establish more awareness
- if they work for the USA Justice Department (and Google is trying to pre-emptively stave off anti-trust investigations)

On a slight tangent, I do have to say that of all the affiliate programs I belong to, FriendFinder.com is consistently the most affiliate-friendly. Cards, small gifts, regular e-mail contact, occasional phone contact... it's amazing and appreciated!

Just curious but did anyone's card actually have anything personal on it like Dear X or a hand written message of any kind or was it the most unpersonal card you have ever received (except of course for the envelope and those cards you never receive because people don;t send them!).

and "happy holiday" in many languages.

Just a plain card, nothing personal. I spent some in the past, but haven't spent a dime recently. So, I'm not sure If I'm permanently on their Christmas/beach towel list, or if they update it every year.

I saw the Japanese before I saw the English and I asked my housemate if that was a normal thing to say during the festive season in Japan - at which he shrugged his shoulders...

...and then I noticed it said the same thing in English.

Was "Season's Greetings" too socio-politically loaded?

I wouldn't be so put out, if I could actually see a holiday at some point in the next decade... bah humbug

Not sure what you are talking about. Maybe it is a British-English/American-English problem.

"Happy Holidays" means pretty much the same as "Season's Greetings" out here in Schwarzeneggerlandia.

From the second part of your message, you seemed to imply a holiday meant lack of a workday. I do not see any such connotation.

As for holiday no longer meaning 'a day off work' in the 21st century, yes, I very much catch your drift (hehe)... though I suspect that a Holy Daye was originally a day when you went to church with your family instead of going out to till the field (which is what you did every other day).

I think that was the most valuable information anyone has ever sent me. It helps put your own results in perspective.

Like you I am also missing 1 check while I received the check for account #1 last week already. (for some reason one check was always 1 week delayed, every month for a different account though)
Let's hope that we're getting what we earned soon ;)

Yes. Google sent me a 32 MG USB "Thumb Drive". Pretty cool! I love Google!

And yes I generate good revenues for G and my own company.

Yeah, got the 32 MB USB "Thumb Drive" as well. It's cool that it actually has "Google" printed on the side of it.

Good replacement for a floppy disk, with just about every computer coming with USB nowadays.

I don't do Adwords, so it's got to have been sent for Adsense participation.

It would be nice to know (for AdSense publishers and not Adwords advertisers) what "threshold" was hit before receiving a gift from Google. In general terms, of course. Are the gifts reserved only for the largest Adsense publishers (say 1,000,000 imp/week or whatever) or are even some smaller sites getting them?

I received my Oct. check (best of all), but no card or gift yet. My site gets around 5000-6000 imp/day.
