I tried them as a PSA replacement

I stoped after
3465 impressions
3 clicks
$0.31 unaudited earnings.
$0.089 eCPM

I would quess my AdSense eCPM is in the upper region.

I only use chitika as a tool against ad blindness :)
It doesn't work at all for me in terms of making money for my site.
Usually 0.3 clicks per day => 10 or less cents per day.

It is fine to put chitika and google on the same page (that's what I do) BUT only if you disable contextual targeting and instead setup your own keywords as shown in a post above.
