Before I email adsense i thought i would just ask here and maybe i'll get an answer quicker. I found an affiliate that is paying pretty good but it's a poker ad. It's a 160x600 poker casino ad. I want to display it on my site but i know adsense is against gambling...is it ok to do it or no?

I think it should be ok, as long as you have no gambling content - your best to ask.

So the question is... Is a gambling Ad considered as content?

Normally I'd recommend asking Google directly, but just a week or so ago someone said here that Google had specifically contacted him to remove a gambling-related advert.

Doh! It was YOU!

StuntasticAudi:

All i had was a link on my site saying. Click here to play poker. Google saw it and I got an email to remove it within 24 hours.

Why are you wasting our time with this?

From this quote I can tell you that you might be better to take off everything to do with poker. Find something else and don't waste your time (and ours) for asking questions you have got answers to Directly from google!

Yea you're not allowed to have gambling content but is a third party ad not allowed either? It's just a very good paying affiliate that displays poker ads.

There a hint in there somewhere... I would say its stay away from poker stuff!

An ad is content. It's on the page along with all the other content. But email AdSense if you don't believe us.

Actually why dont you just make a poker site with no adsence and only have banners & Affiliates?

What part of NO GAMBLING CONTENT don't you understand?

Ads appear on your page and are therefore site content.

Go ahead - ignore the Timelords of the Googleplex and see what happens.

You will be starting a new thread next week: "Google cancelled my account and I am ruined!"
