Got it on one...don't do it, don't use any machine to access your account that may be used by ANYONE else.
You've been warned. Don't say you were not told.
Since he did not know any other means of advertising that time - he advertised all through out the university by posting flyers in every bulletin board and notice boards in dorms etc.
Atleast 90% of his traffic was from the university I would think. He recieved his first AS check, then before the end of second month - he recieved the "Email" from G saying that his account was terminated due to fraudulent clicks. He tried reasoning with the G representatives that all his traffic is from the university but he did not have any luck getting reinstated.
I cannot vouch but i'm pretty sure that this guy did not do any fraudulent clicks himself - I'm assuming that since all the clicks came from either the university library or computer labs - it might have raised a suspicious flag for G to suspend his account.
Any thoughts?

WW doesn't allow you to quote from e-mails that are not public information. This has got to do with privacy. If Google sends you a message, they did not intend that information to be posted in a public forum, it's between you and Google.
However, WW allows you to describe in your own words what was in that e-mail. So if you want to tell us about some message you got from Google, there is always a way...
Just remember this, once you're banned, you're banned.
IBill's trick is fine when travelling, I do that very occasionally, but otherwise don't risk your account.
There's no fluttering of eyelids, no lifting of hems, no "I'm sorry sir I won't do it again", you're out, period.
All of the people there surf the net through a proxy, so I asked G if this was OK. The reply was basically that my account was in good standing at that they would monitor the situation.
Also, I spent about six months without an internet connection (no, not even dial up) and had to use an internet cafe to update my site and check my stats. One thing I did though was to use Portable Firefox (Firefox on a USB stick) to surf the net in these cafes. You take all of your history and cookies with you when you leave :)

Good idea, I'm trying to think if there is a downside to doing this?
Can't think of one right now, anyone else?
