Leaderboard without urls

I have leaderbaords showing with out urls. It looks good. Is this something thats always been around or something new? I never noticed it before.

I've noticed that sometimes the leaderboards show URL's, other times they won't.

Not really sure how or when it shows, or how long it's been happening.

I have about sixty pages of content (all of which is similar in nature) accessed through a large image map.

These pages all have leaderboards and even though many pages can be accessed from the image map very quickly, sometimes there will be URLs and sometimes there won't... often even for the same ads.

I first noticed this last fall. I've seen others post about this but I've never read anything definitive. Seems odd!

I meant it's odd from the perspective that it seems to be devoid of any obvious value.

LOL. I must be suffering from ad blindness then, I never noticed! I'd have sworn leaderboards never had URLs ;)

Leaderboards don't have URLs by default and never have as I recall.

Sometimes URLs show up when all the content fits plus the URL but it's not often.

urls show up about 40% on my leaderboards for a long time. sorry, i didn't think my leaderboads were so special. what makes my sites so different then? can't be earnings :)

If there are between 1-3 ads, it shows.
If there are 4 ads, a leaderboard does not show URL's.

Is this the case?
If it is, there's nothing wrong then.

When 4 ads are displayed on a leaderboards, there isn't simply enough space to show urls. With 1-3, there is.
