Different Adsense stats in IE vs Firefox

IE is always ahead

I use Firefox, but sometimes i'll fire up IE (dont ask me why) and check my Adsense stats.

I've noticed that in IE, the stats are almost ALWAYS ahead of Firefox.. by as much as an hour.

at first i thought i was just connecting to a different server, but it seems to ALWAYS do this.. it's the same on both of my PC's, after reboots, and after cookie-clearing.

has anyone else seen this, or have an explanation as to why this happens?

I didn't believe it, but I just tried and it works... I have no idea why it happens, though.

I've never tried this, but maybe it has something to do with the different (more secure) security settings of Firefox?

What makes Firefox 'more secure' is the lack of ActiveX (and a few other things).
but i dont see how that would change what the Adsense server is feeding it..

For fun, I just checked. My stats are identical in IE and FF.

I think it has to do with the cookies

It's true. Just checked, IE and FFox both show same amount of clicks/impresions, but IE is showing more earnings and thus higher eCPM.

Weird stuff.
