Public public public service announcements...

And public service announcements...

Hi all,
am I the only one who's getting almost only public ads now?
It can't be because I have not enough text or anything, it was fine last month...
Now, 99% are public ads, which I find insulting in a way...
I don't understand why advertisers would choose to display their PPC ads a certain amount of times when they only pay for clicks...
It doesn't make -adsense- to me...
What's going on?
Anyone having this problem too?
Is it because google adsense has grown too big now and all the big free sites hosts are eating the smaller sites?
I would even like it better to get untargeted ads but paying ads when targeted ones are not available instead of those public non-paying ads...
Yes I know, I can replace those with my owm campaign...
But my site is in good ol' html and I would have to change the code on many pages, and I don't have another PPC campaign of my own (any ideas where I can find one?)
Anyways, sorry for the whining, it's just that I am dissappointed that when I joined adsense this summer I was making 3 times more than what I do now, and almost never any public ads...
I just want to know if other ppl are getting a lot of those also.
Any ideas are welcomed.
Thanks,

Me-Uzik

Anything change with your site? Did you recently switch servers? Does your content contain "sensitive" words that could trigger PSAs? If you have recently made changes to your robots.txt, have you checked to make sure you didn't inadvertantly disallow the mediabot? These are some of the most common reasons why people get PSAs.

Hi Jenstar, thanks for the reply;
I haven't done any changes at all since last month nor did I switch servers...
I don't think I have any sensitive words also, it was fine last month...
And finally I don't have a robots.txt anyways...
Anyhow, I just read in a message posted earlier about running our own campaign helped a guy having less public ads, so I might try that.
What would be great is that we can run the adsense ad in a .js file so whenever there's a change in the code we don't have to replace the code on every pages of our web sites, for the ones who use html.
But for now I will go and put the code with my own non-paying campaign which will simply be a link to another web site of mine.
Thanks,

AdSenseAdvisor said the following about PSAs:

PSAs are always an issue, and I encourage everybody who is seeing high levels of PSA (or alternate ad) activity on their pages to contact the tech team. They're usually able to resolve the issue at least partially, often completely, and every email that comes in with specific URLs helps the team to teach the system to better access and comprehend the information. So it's definitely worth your time.

Nothing to worry about. I switched servers 3 weeks ago and the only thing I noticed was that the Mediabot didn't find my site for a couple of hrs (the next day everything was back to normal).
