At least where I am employed they do...

It looks like all google ads are being blocked by WebSense where I work. The ads were fine yesterday, now they have been replaced by 'Blocked by Websense' banners (with both horizontal and vertical scroll bars).

Does this affect all users using websense filtered Internet connections or only where it has been setup to block this content?

I'll have to find a way to serve other ads as it looks like crap at the moment...

Complain about it!

There is maybe a net technican on his own crusade against advertising.

Go to the chief, and tell him examples about very usefull AdSense ads, You clicked and visited to solve problems for Your company.

Does Your company use AdWords?

Ask Your chief, imagine everybody would do this, where would the ads of Your company be visible.

We have this situation where I am currently 'employed' at the moment. It is so frustrating not being able to adjust my ad settings during work hours... sorry I mean during my lunch break!

Roll on that day when I break the corporate chains!

Fair enough, it's their network.

I would think the best thing you could do would be to block users with Websense so that they can't view your site in the first place.

Is there any way to tell, server-side, that this is happening?

For some reason Adsense is in the category "Adult content" lol.

Dunno who does the Websense admin here, we also can't access the British Royal Mail website because "The Websense category 'Web-based Email' is filtered."

Many LAN technicans make only difficulties.
Beside AdSense, I teach the prmotion department of companies, how to make sites with my CMS.

Very funny, when MSN messenger is blocked.
It's a guerilla war fare of the LAN technicans.
They open one port, but the next part still does not function.

But there are also good news at the front.

A LAN technican was fired on the spot in Germany, after the chief found out, that he reads the chiefs emails.

When AdSense would set a Javascript variable, an own Javascript could test this variable.

In other words, you check to see if a variable has been set, further down the page?
