Anonymizer being used to mask visitors from AdSense?

I'm seeing a rash of "internal zero-knowledge agent" as the user agent prefacing requests to only my AdSense alternate ads pages. Didn't find anything from a quick net search other than people are also seeing this and only speculating it's some form on anonymizer.

When I look at the log entries for tha same IP address all of the page loads have a normal user agent name, just the ads being loaded from my site have this crazy user agent name.

I'm real curious about this so anyone have any clue?

I see an allegation that this is caused by a particular brand of pop-up blocker software, but I could not locate facts to support the allegation.

I found one hint about the same product probably.

Well, since they broadcast the fact they're blocking it via the user agent I'm thinking about snaring people using this and giving them a message to "unblock all content to continue" and lock them down until they do it.

This may be the first real run of blocking ad blockers, let's see what happens ;)

This is one reason why Google should allow us to somehow to pull ads from them and present them ourselves. Surely there could be a compiled server side solution for this and in the process increase Google (and our) earnings.

Premium Publishers get an API and can do just this.

However, for the average joe that would be way too complicated as many people can barely figure out how to past the javascript into their pages.
