I cannot find anything in the Adsense FAQ or TOS that would disqualify you from the program.

No harm in trying.

Does google pay a check for an indidual name rather a company's name?

When you fill in the application form they ask for a company name which must be put down, but on the cheque that i receive its just my full name which is the Payee name, which i gave when joining up.

(this Payee name can also be changed at anytime now if i wish to change it, via the Account Information when your logged into your Account)

Hmmmmm..... I think you're saying that you "run" a company website, that company employs you, and you do not own the company.

I'm sure it will say in the TOS somewhere that you can only run AdSense on a site which you own.

Unless the Company has given you the rights to run advertising campaings on the site for your own financial benefit - but I really can't see that.

Sorry to mislead you! I own the site and I am a freelancer I file my tax returns as a consultant. I have not registered a company name.

OK, seems I misunderstood.

You have no problem and are perfectly entitled to run the AdSense program as far as I can see (be a good thread for ASA to jump in on).

I would recommend that you read the program policies. If your site is strictly selling products, but no other original content, I'm not sure that you would qualify for the AdSense program.
