I am new to adsense and it seems as though it may take awhile to get clicks, is it worth putting up adsense ads?

whatcha gonna do with adsense? you have an online shop, putting ads on it is insane.

It would be good to decide whether you are going to be a merchant or provide an advertising platform.

Have you even gone into a shop that has advertisments for competitor's shops all over the wall? That is exactly what you would be doing.

I run Adsense on my shop site and it hasn't had any noticable effect on orders. The site is aimed at one specific geographic area, so by having adverts, people from elsewhere are more inclined to check the adverts.
