hello, i just started with adsense and im rebuilding my site and buying a better domain, i got few questions and im hoping someone here can point me the directions.

1)How much traffic approx. it takes to earn 20$ in a day?
2)On my site i make articles too but i dont have room for linking them, will googlebot find those and link them with me?
3)Could you tell me few pages that make 20-60$ in a day, im curious how good the site has to be.
4)Im not sure if my nich will get me enough visitors and ads, its like selling umbrellas, u dont go find umbrellas on the net, or do u?;p

My site is about a pretty popular sport and ill be ranked in top10 with the current info i have.
Ill let everybody know how ill do, thanks.

Welcome to webmasterworld monsterpill

Its difficult to say what site will generate a given figure in earnings, you cant, it depends on too many factors, niche, site size, traffic etc

Your site will also be new, so you will probably have to wait a while for good search engine traffic, if you use a sitemap pages will get found by search engines but you should also put them in your navigation or link to ALL from one page/directory.

I have many pages that can and sometimes do turn in $20 in a day, but I have a site thats been 8 years online (very old in web terms) it is very large and gets a lot of traffic.

Not sure how you can say you will rank in the top 10, UNLESS your sport is very rare, if that was the case, would there be enough advertisers for you?

Hi Monsterpill!

I agree with the first comment, you might want to re-evaluate your statement with the top-10; many people will tell you that content is king, and they are right, but for a new page it is hard to get good rankings in the first couple of months even with the best content available online. But even if you don't meet your high expectations, don't be disappointed. My own site offers extensive content and is fairly well-linked considering that it's only a few months old, but doesn't make any money at all. I would be happy about 10 dollars a day, but do not go for the cash, see your first site as a learning experience and keep reading WW, here you will find a lot of valuable advice.

As for references to cashmaking pages: this wouldn't tell you much (and I think the moderators don't like urls here), since revenue is extremely variant from topic to topic, season to season, etc.

Just write about something you enjoy, learn and experiment! Good luck!

Google provides AdSense case studies
[google.com...]

Look for the Case Studies link.

Lots of good info there.

that sport isnt rare, just ppl who do that sport rnt really those type of ppl who sit behind the computer all the time..about the top10 its a guess according to the niche there are only 4 sites that r same niche as mine and after searching google and yahoo with the most important keyword with my niche i clearly saw that my site design(design done adding last pieces of content, i wrote all content first, i put it in a word file :) .)was a lot better, and my content would be 1-2#....im very serious about that sport so i have lots of content.

thanks for feedback

someone send me a link of ur site+how much u get approx a day(20$+)...i need to be 100% if adsense is worth the time im putting into it, 2 weeks ive build content and if the smarter choice is to stop and go live my life, ull do it :p...

then yes it looks like you have a good opportunity to capitalise, hopefully the advertisers in that market have to pay high prices for their adverts within adwords, then you stand a good chance of making your $20 per day and more but if the advertising prices dont offer a good eCPM your earnings will be low.

If theres not enough interest in the sport to only warrant 4 sites, at least you will be in the top 5 ;), that to me isn't a good niche so advertising will be cheaper, but I may be wrong.

two weeks of work is really nothing compared to the time it takes to put together and maintain a professional website. for these two weeks of work, you'll be able to apply for AdSense and find out how much you can monetize it for - sounds like a good deal to me.
