Try to make your ads a bit more 'contrasting', it might to much blended.
Maybe another color for the text would make them better. People will notice them. Now they are somewhere between all the other "menu's"
Try one block on top of your blog.

Your sample size isn't large enough to extrapolate anything solid.

Try looking at things on a larger scale.

You'll probably want to run your "test" over a longer trial period. Not sure about your account, but my AdSense reporting doesn't update that quickly... Most likely these were from clicks ealier in the day that Google had yet to update on your stats.

I would try running your trial longer to fully evaluate the effect of ad color on your performance.

I would reecommend limiting the number of posts on the blog index to two. This way there is never an issue with google displaying content ads, although the , by default now, only show the max amount anyway.

Depending on the blogging software you may be able to place ads manually.

ah, it could just be the type of traffic you're getting.

i've got very untargetted traffic by accieent one day, which resulted in more than 1000 page impressions only earning me 7 cents. pretty shameful, no? just uninterested traffic.
