If I Buy a Domain that was Previously Banned by AdSense

Will my Account Also be Banned if I put AdSense on it?

Hi Copulae, welcome to Webmaster World.

Yep, using a domain where an Adsense account has already been canceled is just about the surest way to get your new account canceled.

If you are in no way related to the domain you want to buy, the only way to go about it successfully is to first tell Google about the situation and see what they have to say.

It would probably be best to ask Google that question directly.

So...how did you know that the domain name you purchased was once cancelled for invalid clicks?

Beacuse I have a proyect to make a magazine, and this domain have the same name of the one I choose for the magazine. That's why I acepted this domain whit the google problem.

All this proyect is new, so in the site I don't have more than the index page. But I really would like be accepted for google.

Don't ask here because no one on this board will have the answer. You must email Google about it.

Let us know what the result was.

I've heard that someone already banned from adsense could make new account without further banning with same domain. what depends on, i'm not sure.

I did ask them and it would be cheerio, cheerio, cheerio". Unless they have changed their policy in the last year or so.

I would post the exact e-mail but that is against this boards TOS

Definitely contact Google FIRST as someone has posted here before that they got banned after putting AdSense code on a banned domain. Otherwise, without prior approval, they may just assume you're the same banned person trying to game the system.

I'm in the same position, and I asked the Google team last night.

They said they moniter all the websites with the code on it, and if there were any violations, they would request the code be removed. They also said it would be fine to put the code on the domain, as long as there were not any current violations.

I imagined I would have gotten a pretty much canned response. But I'm glad I took the moment I did to ask them first. If anything happened later down the road, I'd have this email showing that it was OK to use that domain.
