Ads show on default.htm but not without typing it it to browser

if I go to my site

"www.example.com"

I do not see the ads

if I go to

"www.example.com/default.htm"

I do see the ads.

Any ideas?

You placed the ads code in default.htm. If you want to see the ads by "www.example.com", you should place the code inside index.html. or index.htm, depends on your site.

"default.htm" is the default page if index.html doesn't exist, though.

Are you seeing a white box where ads should be, or are you seeing nothing at all?

check with your hosting company and get them to point your domain name to the default.htm file.
