I requested for google adwords for my website <snip> today.
I dont know whats exactly is the criterion for approval. I did read a lot before I did that. And I thoght it should be alright bcoz the site does not suffer from any serious flaws( whichc google mentions on its website_.
Anyway,I am pessimistic and now I would want a view as what to do if i get rejected.
When can i apply again ( after one month or so..?)
Anyone whoh has experienced this adwords thingy, please please suggest me something.
Regards,

Primrose

By the way,was that some kind of an advertisement of one's site? This does look like a good platform to launch SEO related websites..

I don't think anybody should be so worried about getting a site accepted for Adsense.

If you want something weird, I applied within another affiliate program to run banner ads for a certain company that fit right in with my site (they make widgets, I provide info about widgets).

individual companies can turn you down, within the affiliate program, and they did.

But everyday, at the top of my site, my most visible AdSense ad is that same company that turned me down!

A friend pointed out that had they accepted me, and then blocked my site for their AdWords campaign, then they would probably have had to pay less, because the banner/affiliate is commission/percentage based on sales generated, and it's not CPC like AdSense.

A more likely scenario (based on a vague email from them) is that they loaded my site up, saw that the first AdSense ad was their's (and they maybe targeting my site) and didn't want too many ads from their company on the site or thought I might block them from AdSense (the banner was lower down than the AdSense - I explained where it would be located), or they felt that they were getting their money's worth with AdSense on my site (I would assume the same people handling their AdSense campaign handles their other affiliate programs as well).

Are you talking about adwords or adense? I get the feeling you mean adsense even though you said adwords.

if your site complies with the guides of either program, then there isn't normally any reason to be rejected. It may be an idea to submit and see what happens.

Also, if you've launched a Web site for your SEO business, why would you want to run AdSense ads for competitors? And how professional does that make your business look?

this thread has me totally confused ( not difficult i know) ;)

is it adwords or adsense? and how can you feel weird about a reaction that hasn't even been given yet?

the mod explains to rose_1171 that it is against the TOS to post urls and another member, FrostyMug, apologises.

have i been taking the wrong drugs again? :P

Thanks for the reply everyone.
I am taking about adsense; having google ads on my website.
I have applied already, and wating for their reply.
Anyway, i am not goign to limit the use of website just for Website and SEO services but few other things to generate more money.
Thats why adsense makes sense to me:)
