I have heard that if you drive a significant number of impressions and/or perhaps clicks or total dollars per month, then Google AdSense will increase the % that they pay out to you. Does anyone have any idea what total number of monthly IMPS / CLICKS / DOLLARS you need to make before you are invited into that club?

And furthermore, does anyone know if this total IMPS / CLICKS / DOLLARS is important that it comes from one site alone, or could it be a combination of several sites and Google would distribute this new, higher paying tier equally among all sites?

Any information people have on this would be appreciated.

Well, if you have several millions (20 millions, IIRC) page per month then you become a premium publisher and have certain privileges (like customizing your ads) but i am not sure if you get a higher payout.

OTO, it's quite a common thought that for other "normal" guys, the more traffic you have the lesser % you get!

Sounds like a rumor. I'm not sure that such a club exists outside their premium publisher program which is explained on their site.

Without knowing exactly how much they pay regular advertisers, how do you expect to find out if they pay premium publishers any more?

As one myself, I can assure you I've never been told that my payout % was any higher/lower.

At that point your best option is to approach advertisers on your own. Cut out the middle man.
