I was searching for opinions about a certain mattress and seen the Google ad in search results, went there and it was a blank page with another Google ad for clicking on that website.
They got a visitor and seem to be using someones ad to earn them money. Would work as long as their bid is lower than the payout on the legitimate ad.

Me? I back spaced out.

I clicked to get there=traffic

Backspaced to get out=no money for them.

Don't usually click on any Google ads but It was late and I was tired.

Anyway, I reported them.

technically there's nothing wrong with that at all, as long as the site they connected you with was content-based and useful in any way. It's difficult to make money that way but it's possible

it was a blank page with another Google ad

I expect the "no content" thing would be a TOS violation. I bet they have hidden text to generate the context for the ad.

Surprised it wasn't for mesothelioma instead of mattresses...
