Getting lots of public service ads today

Well today, I being getting lots of public ads, wondering if its just me?

I'm seeing this as well. Very discouraging. I hope this is not a permanent situation.

I run a very clean site that has been doing fairly well with Adsense. The site in an authority in it's niche. I hope this is not caused by some kind of new algorithm or smart-pricing thing...

Strange, I am seeing PSAs on my FastClick ads as well as AdSense. A virus targeting advertising, perhaps?

Hope it gets fixed soon.

Over in the adwords forum a G rep said it was being worked on.

I quickly threw up some alternate ads (that will teach me not to have them there for just this situation).

However I'm seeing targeted ads slowly creeping back. I'm getting less PSAs and blank ad blocks than I was an hour or two ago, but things are not back to normal yet since my alternate ads are still displaying in some 2nd and 3rd ad block spaces.

At least the alternate ads will now be there next time this happens...

Looks like Google solved the problem, folks.

I seem to be getting about 50% ads showing. I don't show PSA just a solid color.

Interestingly AdSense just returned to showing 4 ads in rectangles instead of the two we have been seeing for a month or so. A few hours later the PSAs started showing.

I can't remember getting any PSA at all for a year or so. my topic always has plenty of ads. So I don't think it's an ad shortage.

I have a lot of pages so it may be taking longer for my site. But it is definately on its way back.

Quite interesting, I'd say. Have seen the same thing. Since December the 29th, I believe, that is when it switched to 2 ads. I'm seeing 4 again now.
