Anyone having trouble with the AdSense page impression count today? Mine shows only a miniscule fraction of what my server traffic shows is a high impression day. Is there a typical lag between the Adsense report function and actual traffic, impressions and click throughs?

Yes. According to their FAQ, it can take up to 24 hours for the stats to be accurate. Sometimes all stats are behind, while sometimes only impressions are behind but clicks are up-to-date (or vice versa).

This isn't unusual, it happens quite frequently.

"me too", stat averages were innacurate this morning, not holding my breath....there's not much info to go on unless you send an email to big brother himself ;)

my stats still look off, anyone else? for example I get about 6000 hits a day on my site but adsense shows 500 impressions.

Google's stats are generally kept pretty current - they seem to be updated every 45 minutes to an hour for my site - but every now and then a day comes around with no updates for a long period of time. Today (4th) is one of those days. I checked a short time ago and everything seems caught up.

Despite this happening before, it still freaked me out as I did some ad display code changes to my site overnight which ended up messing MY ad tracking - and then when I saw Google only showing a fifth of what it should have had, I figured I had *really* messed up and stopped pages from displaying at all.

Fortunantly my problem was minor, and Google was just slow updating. :-P

This "takes 24 hours to be accurate" is a pile of crap.

For the last 70 days, the PI's noted are 10 per cent of the page impressions we actually get. As our server said "It's google, they aren't the brightest"
