I purchased a site 3 months ago, previous owner used to run adsense. Can I put now my own adsense code in this new site? or I need to contact google before doing so?

safest is to contact Google, the previous owner may have been banned if they sold it, or it didnt make enough profit, get authorisation FIRST and file it and all other correspondance from the plex, incase someone else at the plex hasnt been notified of the new owner and your account gets closed, if that happens you wont be too chuffed.
