I've just added text links to my pages and get a form field and the text "View Ads About". Will this be populated with ads after time?

Yes, this should go away after the adsensebot visits.

Yes, initially they go away pretty quickly.

But even after you've had Adlinks on the page for a while the search box show up occasionally, sort of like a PSA might in a regular adblock. Not often, but it does happen.
