The vendor offers packages of content already Adsense-ready from $50 to a couple of hundred bucks for upto 40,000 pages of generated content tailored to particular keyword sets. With this you could release a couple of hundred garbage filled websites in a matter of hours... hardly value-adding for Adwords clients involved in the content network!
Surely Google could at least refuse this mob as an advertiser, as they're using the Adwords system to promote this stuff.

Could the ads have slipped through? Maybe you should give them a "heads up."
Consider the growing number of other dubious products advertised using Adwords.
I doubt Google care! LOL!
I think Google cares, but like a lot of us they just don't have a lot of time. Yes, they should find the time to get rid of MFAS and AdWords scams but that's easier said than done.
but autogenerating a site and getting any traffic are 2 different things
True enough, but create enough sites and even if each is only getting a few uvs a day it will add up.
How long do auto generated sites last before being banned?
They aren't necessarily banned at all. I can think of several major travel review sites that are made up mostly of keyword-driven, automatically-generated pages.
I think banning more has to do with what's on the automatically-generated pages (e.g., if the pages consist of scraped search results or other stolen content).
So if Google did ban them from advertising, they are still selling the product, but Google isn't getting the money from those who clicked on the ad. Also, Google can always just ban the people who buy the product instead ;) That way they keep the money and don't have the extra idiots.
My site(s) have hundreds of inbound links from MFA/ scraper sites; one thing I can say in the last six months Google Search has just about purged 90% of the MFA sites.
The inbound links to my site(s) are now virtually all supplimental. The PR of these many many pages linking to my site(s) is zero. Google, the search engine, is making this a very difficult business to be in. Unfortunately many legitimate sites have suffered.
I've watched some guy who used to frame my site(s), and 1000's of other sites, slowly hide these huge scraper sites. The only thing that see's these sites now are search engines, all browsers are redirected to other sites using javascript. You have to turn off Javascript to see these hundreds of sites, typically each with 50,000 to 100,000 pages! But I'll bet these sites will be quickly resurrected once they are sold to some sucker out there.
Why would anyone sell these sites unless they are profitless! (No I doubt that they are so rich they have too much income)
