Widgets(sport) vs Widgets(other)

Trouble sorting out relevant ads from irrelevant

I have a site about widgets. A fairly well known subject. But there is also a rather less well known part used in sporting equipment with the same name.
I just can't get rid of them!
There seem to be zillions of stores selling Widgets(sport) As fast as I add them to the reject list more pop up. Besides, rejecting the higher bidding advertiser seems silly
Any ideas?
I've tried going to my target advertiser's sites and duplicating their keywords to no avail.

Have you tried "section targeting"? Do a search in the help area at AdSense.

If that doesn't work, some people have had success asking AdSense to fix such a problem manually.

One thing I found was page naming (of course you may have to do a lot of redirects if you change page names).

This fixed a problem I had with targeting.

For example, if you have a site about the Ford Mustang, the car, and you are getting ads about Mustang horses (the kind you ride), if you have a page like www.yoursite.com/care-of-mustangs/ you are liable to get mustang/horse and Ford Mustang ads, but if you call it www.yoursite.com/care-of-ford-mustangs/ you are going to get better targeting.

That may not work everywhere, but it worked for me. That could change though, but it seemed like as soon as I renamed some pages, that better targeting kicked in quickly.

Thanks for the replies.
First thing I did after reading the FAQ was ask google for help, they just said 'sorry'.
I also looked at section targetting but my pages are pretty specific, there is nothing in them that might suggest that the site is in any way sport related.
Page renaming might work. I hate the idea of destroying my links though, this is a relatively young site and is just beginning to pick up visitors.
Life is never easy!
