adsense and affiliate links

Hello,

I would like to get some feedback about my adsense policy.

Im maintaining a web directory and have some websites listed in the directory.

I created a pages with category such as hosting, dating, softwares and so forth and list all related affiliate programs in created categories and put an adsense code there.

Any adsense publishers doing this also? or it is a violation of adsense policy?

I believe affiliate links are acceptable on the same page as adsense.

They only have a problem if they are placed on the same page as other ppc programs like bidclix.

I emailed Adsense HQ to clarify this and they emailed back that it was fine to combine aff links like Amazon's with Adsense ads on the same page.

It is a violation of AdSense policy to put their code on a page where the only content you have on the page is affiliate links.

Ads may not be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads, whether or not the page content is relevant.

I contacted the support team to visit my site (directory) because I told them that some of the ads are the same and not targetted.

The said affiliate listing was on the top of the page and they have no comment about that but instead give some advise how to maximize my revenue.
