I have a site, that’s only been running for a couple of months, and really gets a pathetic amount of traffic (average of 35 visits a day) so don’t laugh when you hear how few clicks I’m getting.
I have just set up an adsense account, and I’m a bit confused. I understand the difference between the ads you get paid for per 1000 impressions, and the ads you get paid for per click, but I can’t find anywhere where I can pick which type appears on my site, is this even an option, or is it just random? If it is random then it might be the answer to my second question.
I have so far earnt a grand total of $0.28 (yay!), but all of that was from a day when I only got one click, yet I have other days when I’ve had 4 or 5 clicks, and I have no “earnings” for those days, I dont quite understand how it decides whether or not you get paid for the click.
Obviously this is all irrelevant at the moment, as I’m not really earning anything, but I hope one day (when I work out how to get some more visitors) that I will be able to make a bit of money from the advertising, but I just want to get my head round how it all works first.
Thanks for your help in advance,
Cheers,
Jack
My site is: <snip> by the way.
